فضل الإكثار من صيام النافلة في شهر محرّم

Le mérite de la fréquence du jeûne pendant le mois de Muharram
هل من السنة الإكثار من الصيام في شهر محرم ؟ وهل لهذا الشهر مزية على غيره من الشهور ؟.
الحمد لله
فإن شهر محرم هو أول الشهور العربية وهو من أشهر الله الحُرم الأربعة ، قال تعالى : ( إن عدة الشهور عند الله اثنا عشر شهراً في كتاب الله يوم خلق السموات والأرض منها أربعةٌ حرم ذلك الدين القيم فلا تظلموا فيهن أنفسكم ) التوبة / 36
أخرج البخاري (3167) ومسلم (1679) عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الزَّمَانُ قَدْ اسْتَدَارَ كَهَيْئَتِهِ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ اللَّهُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ السَّنَةُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَهْرًا مِنْهَا أَرْبَعَةٌ حُرُمٌ ثَلاثَةٌ مُتَوَالِيَاتٌ ذُو الْقَعْدَةِ وَذُو الْحِجَّةِ وَالْمُحَرَّمُ وَرَجَبُ مُضَرَ الَّذِي بَيْنَ جُمَادَى وَشَعْبَانَ " .
وثبت عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أن أفضل الصيام بعد رمضان صيام شهر محرم فعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَفْضَلُ الصِّيَامِ بَعْدَ رَمَضَانَ شَهْرُ اللَّهِ الْمُحَرَّمُ وأفضل الصلاة بعد الفريضة صلاة الليل " رواه مسلم 1163
قوله : ( شهر الله ) إضافة الشّهر إلى الله إضافة تعظيم ، قال القاري : الظاهر أن المراد جميع شهر المحرَّم .
ولكن قد ثبت أنّ النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم لم يصم شهراً كاملاً قطّ غير رمضان فيُحمل هذا الحديث على الترغيب في الإكثار من الصّيام في شهر محرم لا صومه كله .

The virtue of observing a lot of naafil fasts in the month of Muharram
Is it Sunnah to observe a lot of naafil [supererogatory] fasts in the month of Muharram? Is there anything special about this month compared with other months?.
Praise be to Allaah. The month of Muharram is the first month of the Arabic year, and it is one of the four sacred months of Allaah. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Verily, the number of months with Allaah is twelve months (in a year), so was it ordained by Allaah on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are Sacred (i.e. the 1st, the 7th, the 11th and the 12th months of the Islamic calendar). That is the right religion, so wrong not yourselves therein”
[al-Tawbah 9:36]
al-Bukhaari (3167) and Muslim (1679) narrated from Abu Bakrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The division of time has turned to its original form which was current the day Allaah created the heavens and earth. The year consists of twelve months of which four are sacred: three consecutive months, Dhu’l-Qa’dah, Dhu’l-Hijjah and Muharram, and Rajab of Mudar which comes between Jumada and Sha’baan.”
It was proven from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) that the best fasting after Ramadaan is fasting in the month of Muharram. It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The best fasting after Ramadaan is the month of Allaah Muharram, and the best prayer after the obligatory prayer is prayer at night.” Narrated by Muslim, 1163.
With regard to the phrase “the month of Allaah”, mentioning the month in conjunction with Allaah is a sign of its great status. Al-Qaari said: it seems that what is meant is all of the month of Muharram.
But it was proven that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not fast any month in full apart from Ramadaan, so this hadeeth is to be understood as meaning that it is encouraged to fast a lot in the month of Muharram, not to fast the whole month.

Louanges à Allah
Le mois de Muharram est le premier mois du calendrier arabe et l’un des quatre mois sacrés d’Allah. A ce propos le Très Haut dit : « Le nombre de mois, auprès d' Allah, est de douze (mois), dans la prescription d' Allah, le jour où Il créa les cieux et la terre. Quatre d' entre eux sont sacrés: telle est la religion droite. (Durant ces mois), ne faites pas de tort à vous-mêmes. Combattez les associateurs sans exception, comme ils vous combattent sans exception. Et sachez qu' Allah est avec les pieux.» (Coran, 9 : 36). Al-Boukhari (3167) et Mouslim (1679) ont rapporté d’après Abou Bakrata que le Prophète (bénédiction et salut soient sur lui) a dit : « Le temps a repris son cours tel qu’il était quand Allah créa les cieux et la terre : l’année compte douze mois dont quatre mois sacrées ; les trois se succèdent et ont pour nom Dhoul-Qa’ada, Dhoul Hidjdja et Muharram et le quatrième Rajab intercalé entre Djoumadaa et Chabaane.
Il a été rapporté de façon sûre d’après le Prophète (bénédiction et salut soient sur lui) que le jeûne effectué en Muharram est le meilleur après celui du Ramadan. A ce propos, Abou Hourayra (P.A.a) dit : « Le Messager d’Allah (bénédiction et salut soient sur lui) a dit : « le meilleur jeûne après celui du Ramadan est le jeûne effectué pendant le mois d’Allah, Muharram. Et la meilleure prière faite après la prière obligatoire est celle effectuée dans la nuit (rapporté par Mouslim, 1163).
Le fait d’annexer le mois à Allah en disant le mois d’Allah vise à en montrer l’importance. Selon al-Quari, il s’agit de jeûner tout le mois de Muharram. Cependant il a été rapporté de façon sûre que le Prophète (bénédiction et salut soient sur lui) n’a pas jeûné un mois complet en dehors du Ramadan. Ce qui permet de comprendre que le présent hadith ne vise que de nous inciter à une fréquente pratique du jeûne au mois de Muharram sans aller jusqu’à jeûner tout le mois. Allah le sait mieux.
